That is normal: the big names hold their offers back and drop them in the days around the event, and some, like KFC, run a different deal every day that week.

What Happened in 2024
In 2024 KFC ran the same play for the first time: the “Fastest Fingers” week put a Streetwise 2 at R2 for the first 1,000 app customers each day, with a new deal daily, including buy-one-get-one-free Twisters. The demand caused problems. Many customers reported the app struggling and the daily allocation vanishing before they could claim, and the disappointment made the news. One name from those old lists will not appear in 2026: Domino’s ran Black Friday deals in South Africa back then, but the chain closed here in 2020.
