KFC Krushers, Milkshakes and Coffee: What Every Drink Costs
KFC’s drinks menu has changed more this year than the chicken has. The Oreo Krusher is no longer on KFC’s online menu, a Kit Kat Chocolate Krusher has taken its place, and Krushers now come in two sizes. Some stores have also started selling iced coffees, boba drinks and thick “Krunch” shakes that most people haven’t seen yet.
Below is the KFC Krusher price for each size and flavour, plus milkshakes, coffee and cold drinks. We give the counter price where we have a confirmed one, and what Mr D and Uber Eats were charging on 25 September 2026 where we don’t. Counter prices come from KFC menu boards, last checked on 5 September 2026.
KFC Krusher price list
| Krusher | Size | Counter | Mr D |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verry Berry | Regular | R39.90 | R49.90 |
| Verry Berry | Small | Not on our list yet | R34.90 |
| Chocolate (Kit Kat) | Regular | Not on our list yet | R56.90 |
| Chocolate (Kit Kat) | Small | Not on our list yet | R43.90 |
| Virgin Mojito Sparkling | Regular | On KFC’s menu, but not available at the stores we checked | |
| Strawberry Sunrise Sparkling | Regular | On KFC’s menu, but not available at the stores we checked | |
On Mr D the Verry Berry costs exactly R10 above its menu-board price. If the Kit Kat Krusher follows the same pattern, expect to pay somewhere around R47 for a regular one in store, but we haven’t seen that price on a menu board, so treat it as a guess.
The two sparkling Krushers are fizzy rather than creamy. KFC lists them on its ordering site, but both showed as unavailable at the stores we tried, so they may only be sold at some branches.
What happened to the Oreo Krusher?
It isn’t on KFC South Africa’s online drinks or treats menu any more, and it doesn’t show up on Mr D. KFC hasn’t announced that it’s gone for good, and a few stores may still have stock, but the Kit Kat Chocolate Krusher looks like its replacement as the chocolate option. The Gingerbread Shake has gone too. It was sold as a seasonal special rather than a permanent drink.
Milkshakes, and whether a Krusher is worth the extra
| Milkshake | Counter | Mr D | Energy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strawberry | R27.90 | R37.90 | 1,259 kJ |
| Chocolate | R27.90 | R37.90 | 1,258 kJ |
A regular Verry Berry Krusher costs R12 more than a milkshake at the counter. The milkshake is smooth and sweet. The Krusher is icier, with the fruit or biscuit blended through it. If you just want something sweet with your meal, the milkshake is the better buy. On delivery the gap nearly disappears: a small Verry Berry Krusher on Mr D is R3 cheaper than a milkshake.
KFC’s nutrition guide has kilojoule figures for the milkshakes but not for any Krusher.
KFC coffee prices
| Coffee | Counter | Uber Eats | Energy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Latte | R30.90 | R38.90 | 476 kJ |
| Cappuccino | R29.90 | R36.90 | Not published |
| White coffee | R26.90 | R32.90 | 181 kJ |
| Black coffee | R24.90 | R30.90 | 1 kJ |
Coffee is mostly sold at KFC stores that do breakfast, so not every branch has it. KFC has also added a Matcha Latte, and an Iced Matcha Latte at some stores. We haven’t found a price for either yet.
For comparison, Wimpy’s official menu has a short cappuccino at R26.90 and a medium at R42.90, and a medium latte at R46.90. KFC doesn’t publish its cup sizes, so it’s hard to compare like with like, but R30.90 for a latte is well under what the sit-down chains charge.
The new iced drinks at some stores
KFC’s ordering site now has a section called Kwench, which is the drinks brand KFC launched across the UK in January 2026 and in Canada in July. In South Africa it seems to be on trial at selected stores. The range includes:
- Krunch Shakes in chocolate, caramel and strawberry shortcake
- Iced lattes (plain, mocha and caramel) and iced coffees (plain, vanilla, salted caramel and hazelnut)
- Cherry and strawberry boba refreshers
- Cloudy and strawberry sparkling lemonade
None of these had a price we could confirm. If your local KFC has them, the price will show in the KFC app once you pick that store.
Cold drinks
| Drink | Counter | Mr D |
|---|---|---|
| 1.5 litre Coke | R27.90 | R34.90 |
| 1.5 litre Coke No Sugar | Not on our list yet | R32.90 |
| Coke Buddy | R22.90 | R28.90 |
| Coke No Sugar Buddy | Not on our list yet | R25.90 |
| Cappy juice 330ml | R19.90 | R25.90 |
| Bonaqua still water 500ml | R17.90 | R22.90 |
| Coke, Fanta or Sprite, large fountain | R24.90 | Not listed |
| Coke Zero, small fountain | R15.90 | Not listed |
Fountain drinks come in small, regular and large, and KFC also sells Stoney in sugar and no-sugar versions. One small tip for delivery orders: the no-sugar Coke is cheaper on Mr D, by R3 on a Buddy and R2 on a 1.5 litre. We couldn’t find any mention of free refills at KFC South Africa.
