Panarottis Menu Prices in South Africa (2026)
Last updated:
Panarottis is South Africa’s sit-down Italian chain, part of the Spur Corporation group and trading since 1990. Where the takeaway pizza chains race on delivery speed, Panarottis sells the restaurant version of the same food: pizzas on dough that is proofed for 24 hours, baked pastas, grills, and a breakfast menu served until 11 in the morning. There are 102 Panarottis restaurants in South Africa, and the group was Spur Corporation’s fastest growing brand in its 2026 financial year, with franchised sales up 16.3 percent.
This page lists the full standard menu with prices, taken from the official Panarottis standard menu. A classic Margherita costs R94.90, the Panarottis Special costs R172.90, and the giant 42cm Monsterito pizzas run from R254.90. The single most important thing to know before you go is the day of the week: on Classic Tuesdays, any classic pizza or pasta on the menu costs R99.90, which undercuts almost every list price below.
Panarottis Prices at a Glance

How These Prices Were Checked
Every price below comes from the official Panarottis standard menu (the chain’s March 2026 standard price list), checked on 6 November 2026. These are the standard in-store prices in rand, including VAT. Two warnings apply. First, individual branches can differ slightly, and delivery listings run higher: a recent Durban delivery listing priced the same Margherita at R104.90, about R10 over the standard price. Second, several older price sites still show Panarottis prices from an older cycle, with the Margherita in the low R70s. Those prices are gone. If a price on this page ever disagrees with the menu in front of you at a branch, the branch menu wins.
Classic Pizzas (30cm)
The classic range is the heart of the menu, and it is the range the Tuesday special applies to. Bases are made from Italian flour and proofed for 24 hours before baking. Prices step up gently from the Margherita: most topped classics sit between R139.90 and R159.90, and only the loaded Seafood breaks R190. You can also combine any two 30cm classics into a Duo, two halves in one pizza, for R188.90 (the meaty MMMeaty range is excluded from the Duo).

| Californian | R177.90 |
| Seafood | R195.90 |
| Duo (any two 30cm halves combined) | R188.90 |
Extra toppings are priced in bands: vegetables R25.90, deli toppings R29.90, favourites R30.90 and meat R33.90 per topping. A wheat, egg and gluten-free base costs R36.90 extra. Panarottis donates R1 from every added topping to its Coding Futures Initiative, which is a small but genuine detail most menus do not bother with.
Monsterito Pizzas (42cm)
The Monsterito is Panarottis’ party format, a 42cm pizza built for a table rather than a person. At standard prices the Classic costs R254.90, which sounds steep until you split it four ways at about R64 a head, less than a single classic each. On Monsterito Quattro Thursdays the same pizza drops to R199.90 (Gourmet R264.90), all day, which makes Thursday the cheapest night of the week for a group.

Pastas
Pastas split into a classic range (all covered by the R99.90 Classic Tuesday deal) and a gourmet range. The classic Bolognese at R129.90 is the benchmark dish; on a Tuesday it costs R99.90, which makes it one of the cheapest hot mains at any sit-down chain that day. The gourmet Saltimbocca tops the pasta menu at R214.90.

Starters, Salads and Subs
Starters lean Italian with one very South African exception: chicken livers, served in a creamy tomato and peri-peri sauce with a garlic flatbread, at R89.90 (add bacon for R99.90). The Cheesy Garlic Snails at R99.90 are the signature starter. Subs are the cheapest way to eat a full lunch here, all under R90.

Meat and Poultry
The grill section is where Panarottis overlaps its sister chain Spur, and the prices tell the same story: a 200g pan-fried fillet at R259.90 and combination grills up to R284.90. Most pizza customers never scroll this far, but the ribs and chicken combos are priced in line with the rest of the Spur group.

Breakfast (Served Until 11am)
Breakfast is the part of the Panarottis menu most people do not know exists. The Classico, one egg with bacon, tomato, chips and toast, costs R49.90 and is the cheapest main on the whole menu. Breakfast pizzas take the same toppings as the morning fry-up and put them on the pizza base, and the bagel range runs from R65.90 to R99.90.
| Breakfast | Price |
|---|---|
| Classico | R49.90 |
| French Toast | R69.90 |
| Traditional Breakfast Pizza | R73.90 |
| Mexican Breakfast Pizza | R74.90 |
| Wors and Relish Breakfast Pizza | R76.90 |
| Rasher and Bacon Breakfast Pizza | R77.90 |
| Breakfast Bowl | R84.90 |
| Palermo | R118.90 |
Vegan Range
Panarottis runs a dedicated vegan menu rather than a token option or two. Vegan mozzarella carries a premium, so a vegan Margherita costs R104.90 against R94.90 for the standard one, and the standard menu’s mince and chicken dishes can be made vegetarian at no extra cost. The two vegan pastas bookend the range: Arrabbiata at R112.90 is one of the cheapest mains in the restaurant.
| Vegan item | Price |
|---|---|
| Vegan Margherita | R104.90 |
| Arrabbiata Pasta | R112.90 |
| Bolognese Pasta | R145.90 |
| Chicken and Mayo Pizza | R155.90 |
| BBQ Chicken and Pineapple Pizza | R160.90 |
| Al Capone Pizza | R185.90 |
| Mexicana Pizza | R192.90 |
Desserts, Coffee and Drinks
Desserts are priced like a family restaurant rather than a patisserie: Malva Pudding R64.90, Peppermint Crisp Tart R70.90 and a Warm Chocolate Pudding at R80.90, with waffles from R39.90 for a half Classic. Coffee is priced above the takeaway chains, as sit-down coffee usually is: a single cappuccino is R39.90 and a double R49.90. Soft drinks run R35.90 for soda fountain and R38.90 for cans, shakes are R49.90 for a standard and R59.90 for the speciality flavours, and the 1 litre cooler jug at R97.90 is the sensible order for a table of four.
Panarottis Specials and Deals
Panarottis runs the most structured weekly specials calendar of any sit-down chain in South Africa, and timing your visit is worth real money. The current set, confirmed on the official menu:
- Classic Tuesdays: any classic pizza or classic pasta for R99.90 each, all day. A Seafood pizza at R195.90 list costs R99.90 on a Tuesday, a saving of R96.
- Monsterito Quattro Thursdays: the 42cm Classic drops to R199.90 and the Gourmet to R264.90, all day.
- Two Delish Summer Edition: a starter and a main, or a main and a dessert, for R169.90, sit-down only. This one ends on 15 November 2026, so it has days left, not weeks.
- App Click and Collect: two large classic pizzas or pastas for R224.90 through the Panarottis app, all day, every day.
More running offers across the chains are tracked on our fast food deals page. Panarottis also runs a loyalty programme, Double Panarottis Rewards, which earns points on spend; the menu notes 90 points as a reference tier, but the earn and burn rates change often enough that the app is the only reliable source.
Panarottis vs the Takeaway Pizza Chains
Panarottis does not really compete with Debonairs or Roman’s Pizza on the same purchase. The takeaway chains sell speed and delivery deals, and their large pizzas undercut Panarottis list prices most days of the week. Panarottis sells the table, the cutlery, the slower meal and a menu that runs from breakfast to grills. The honest comparison is on a Tuesday: at R99.90 for any classic pizza or pasta, eaten in the restaurant, Panarottis undercuts the delivered price of a comparable takeaway pizza once delivery fees land. The rest of the week, you are paying for the sit-down experience, and the menu prices reflect that. Panarottis is one of more than two dozen chains tracked on our fast food chains in South Africa hub.

What is the Panarottis Classic Tuesday special?
Every Tuesday, any classic pizza or any classic pasta costs R99.90 each, all day. There is no voucher or app requirement on the official menu terms; it is a standing weekly special at participating restaurants.

Does Panarottis have gluten-free options?
Yes. A wheat, egg and gluten-free pizza base costs R36.90 extra on any pizza. Panarottis does warn that its kitchens are not a gluten-free environment, so the base reduces gluten rather than guaranteeing zero contact, which coeliac customers should weigh up.
